exporting projects plan data, lists, etc
Good idea... for importing, the importer will also accept Microsoft Project files (including .mpp, .mpx, .xml, .mspdi, .mpt). The benefit of the import is to create more visibility and perhaps a lower cost way to share those files.
To keep a project plan fluid, I can see that someone might want to create the plan offline, then import it for collaboration. Exporting it would allow for greater control of the plan changes, but the only issue that I can imagine around Export, is that some of the associated data that is not on the plan itself, like notes, would not be exported. Then if the user re-imports the plan those notes would be lost.
Overall though, I'm in favor of having data exported for better integration with other applications.
