Error on ConcourseSuite Configuration (Step 4 of 6)

Hi, I am trying to install ConcourseSuite but I am not able to configure email in order to work. I am trying to send a test email on step 4 and I am getting an error:
"Email failed. The email transport returned the following error:

com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: 530-5.5.1 Authentication Required. Learn more at
530 5.5.1 http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=14257 e31sm5093929vbe.19"

I am using Windows, Tomcat 6 and Java(TM) 6 Update 21

the configuration I entered for "Email Server" field at configuration are:
smtp.gmail.com
Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) (enable)
Port 465 (I have tried others too)
username: mymail@gmail.com
password: my gmail password

I would be grateful if anyone can help me with this topic.

Interestingly, I've experienced the same problem with newer versions (Java 7, ConcourseSuite 6.1). I've tried several email servers with the same results. See image below:

I've changed the "MAILSERVER.CONNECTION.PORT" parameter to 465 but the mail test keeps using port 25.

Any ideas as to what is the problem? It appears that the port number is hard-coded somewhere else.

Same settings like mary.. I tried several ports, but I received always this message below:

Email failed. The email transport returned the following error:

com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: 530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. fu8sm476177bkc.5

Has anyone solved this case?!
