I have downloaded the 5.0 version of your from your website and it installed and gave me a desktop icon-but when I open it-it gives me the Error 404 message. What am I doing wrong?
You are getting an error 404 message because Apache Tomcat, your java-http server, is not running. What you need to so is set up your system in order to start the service.
In Windows based system (2000 / Server / XP / Vista):
In Control Panel you need to go to Administrative Tools, then Services. From there you need to set up the 'Apache Tomcat' service to Automatic so it will autostart every time your system starts up. You can also start it now so Centric can get working.
In *nix Based Systems
An automated service or daemon will have to be created to autostart Tomcat upon bootup of system.
