During the last few months we've added several talented team members.  In this time, the development team have tackled updating the application at many levels.

Some of the improvement areas include...

  • Login and session plug-ins... so if LDAP is your thing, it's easy to plug that in.  As for session plug-ins, we've added a simple cookie plug-in so that users don't have to log back in so often.  Thanks to Josh for contributing the plug-in code.
  • Presentation layer improvements... standards-based HTML output using good CSS.  Thanks to Sarah for this ongoing contribution, and to Kristen for providing improved graphics.
  • More administrative configuration flexibility... to reduce having to modify files at the filesystem level... there weren't many here but having them in the database is working out much better... thanks Ananth!
  • Lots more underlying collaborative features and tying together of various project components... thanks to Kailash and Lorraine.
We're still working towards the next major release and we think it's going to be something special.  Once all the details have been pulled together and ironed out we'll have more information about features and a release.  If you start using Team Elements now, you'll be able to upgrade and take advantage of having content already in your system which goes a long way in making use of the new collaboration features.
