Adding a Ticket Programmatically

Hi Guys!

We have a requirement to add in trouble tickets automatically, we have our existing front end website which isnt presently integrated with centric. We'd like to be able to accept incoming data here and pass it into centric and show up as normal.

Do you guys have an API or something similar we can integrate with? A webservice interface? The lowest common denominator options I can see are making the normal http but in code or directly slotting the request into the database.

Hi Louis,

We have an XML-RPC API that allows you to do this plus a lot more. It is fully documented in our Technical Documentation, available for sale on out web site.

As I have just discovered, my company has bought the documentation already, huzzah!

One question arising from reading these docos, do you provide defintions for the XMLs which can be submitted? I can see your example of tickets and thats good but it doesnt have all the possible tags shown.
