The Assets and Service Contracts modules should be better linked together. If you identify in the Service Contracts module the primary contact, and service levels, they should carry over when selected in the Assets module. With the ability change, if needed.
As well as the linking a quote that has been won to be able to add it to the Assets module, or not, depending on the type of products.
