- Site-wide Calendar view should have a local search facility similar to search for classifieds
I was experimenting with calendar.shtml - the site-wide calendar/events view - in a university setting. Typically a university can have several hundred events planned in a span of couple of months - assignment due dates, tests, finals, seminars, talks, cultural events, recruiting events etc. So, I am trying to add a search portlet specific to site-wide calendar view. I think it is beneficial to have a local search portlet on the right side, just like the local search portlet for classifieds, so that one can search events.
