This site is the beginning of something completely new - the integration of:
- A full-featured social networking site with all the trimmings (blogs, wikis, forums, rating, reviews, document management, messaging, photo albums, and the beginning of a rich profile system)
- A complete directory system with full text search
- A management application that lets the owner control and measure system access. Includes full reporting & BI and a slick online direct marketing module among much more
- A multi-tenant CRM that can be provided to users of the directory for managing groups or businesses.

The magnitude of what this integration delivers is not obvious from just these words. It really has to be seen in action to understand the power it brings to the intersection of businesses and customers or groups and members.
It's also very flexible. With modest effort you can completely change how it comes across. Take a look, for example, at this site. Same application, but completely different look, feel and functionality.
Stay tuned for more examples of the technology in production, but it's difficult to get one's arms around the whole thing without seeing some pieces that you don't have access to on this site: the Central Management application and the multi-tenant CRM. The way the pieces interact is stunning and provides a level of power and control that we have not seen before.
