Centric CRM 4.1 has been released.  With this release comes several new phrases for translation.

Additional database translation files will be uploaded to this forum and also need to be translated. They include the items that appear in drop-down lists, permissions, and reports, and have to be updated offline due to the file complexity.

For those that are translating the dictionary online you can login to http://www.centriccrm.com/Translation.do and update your translations.

The benefit for those that spend the time creating an official translation include: (1) We waive training fees if you want to become a certified partner, (2) we highlight you on the website, (3) we forward you leads that come into us, and (4) we directly facilitate you making other revenues like selling help manuals, training, etc. through tieing into our e-commerce back-end.

This project has been setup to coordinate information among those interested in translating Centric CRM.

Here are some steps for working on a language translation:

1. Go to http://www.centriccrm.com/Translation.do
2. Login with your community user id
3. Select your language from the languages tab
4. On the "Language Pack Details" page, you should now have a button to "Translate phrases" if you have access to translate
5. In the list that displays, type in the words on the right for the corresponding English words on the left. When you click "Next >" the words are saved. If you don't understand the context for a word, you can leave it blank and ask us, or you can click on the "reference id" for some system generated information about the phrase.

Please note: There are special characters used in some translations... these are HTML characters, and also "placeholders" for dynamic text. So if you see characters like <br>
or ${name} then you should keep those because the software requires those. Do not translate the characters between the ${ and }. We also insert links around text using started ${} and ending ${} variables.
