Issue	When updating the source code version, the new mail authentication properties are not backwards compatible. Using just the MAILSERVER property of a previous install generates an email authentication error because the following appear to be required, even if not used: MAILSERVER.CONNECTION.USERNAME= MAILSERVER.CONNECTION.PASSWORD= MAILSERVER.CONNECTION.PORT=25 MAILSERVER.CONNECTION.SSL=false

Matt R. 11/26/2007 9:34 PM	During the initialization of the MAILSERVER, if the property does not exist, then default to NOT using mail authentication. This is the way all properties have previously been implemented.

tom f. 1/28/2008 3:52 PM	Matt checked in a fix for this into the 5.0fixes branch today. This should probably be copied over to the community branch at some point in the future.
